I canceled PayPal. Hidden fees and policy.
I used PayPal credit but when you need help they send you to Sycrony who tell you they have no connection to PayPal. At no time will either admit PayPal made a mistake.
For some unknown reason, PayPal started using a payment account that was not my preferred account. Their 'Live Chat' doesn't function.
Even after trying to get a response to the PayPal error, all I got was that I was the problem. Finally, the chat said this issue would be sent to an agent who would call me in 3 to 4 hours. It never happened. I tried using the phone number: 2 hours yesterday and 1 hour today.
I was cut off, hung up on, and given broken instructions.
I was with PayPal from the beginning. I am closing the account due to hidden fees, unresponsive customer service, and using experimental AI.
- Ai should work before being put in service
- Use of the wrong account for payment
- Lousy customer service
Preferred solution: I want those transactions handled with the preferred account. PayPal is to advise merchants that they made the error. I want all return fees paid by PayPal. I want an apology.

They had gave me the runaround for 6 months or longer. Now that I'm back into my account, it has a 0.00 balance.
PayPal customer service support said I had $5.000 credit limit, and 1.800 Bitcoin. Why can't I use it?
Why it's not showing? I have been with them a long time, I just had forgot to use it.

Do not use PayPal!!!
PayPal, in partnership with BankCorp Bank, demonstrates a lack of concern for its customers. I discovered three fraudulent charges on my PayPal checking account. This happened while I was driving my family down the interstate in a 40-foot motorhome. I cannot surf the internet or make purchases while driving. No one else in my family has access to my PayPal account information, and I have not shared it with anyone. Each company blames the other and gives me conflicting stories and processes to follow. PayPal says it's BankCorp that makes the decision, and BankCorp says it's PayPal. So, customers using both institutions don’t seem to matter. PayPal supervisors were provided with all the necessary information and changed the claim from 'Fraud' to 'Unauthorized,' which led BankCorp to close the complaint due to the status update. Now BankCorp tells us to send a letter to PayPal, and PayPal tells us to send it to BankCorp. No resolution yet, and it's been over a week!
All I can say is do not use PayPal!!! There are better online banking options. These other options also offer better interest rates and customer support.
Stop using PayPal, or you could get screwed as well!

Paypal is trying to make pay the five hundred dollars, that the hacker hacked my Paypal account for, they clearly trying to hold me responsible for the five hundred dollars, which I explained to them numerous of times, that account was hacked, the investigation they did was very short. not professionally done
Well I was scammed, they hacked my Amazon account, my PayPal account the same day, I have been a PayPal customer for five years, the hackers bought a five hundred dollar gift card, I was trying to explain to the representative it wasn't me that created this gift card, they did some of investigating, they said that I was liable, I owe the five hundred dollars, I didn't receive a gift card, now they don't want to here nothing I have too say, I need some to help me

Cancel a subscription
Im not comfortable giving my pertinent information over the phone. I want to talk to a representative.
Preferred solution: I want to cancel the subscription to FOX nation. There is no way to do it on their website. There is not a prompt to cancel your subscription.

Account problem
They could answer the phone or call me instead of having a deaf AI receptionist. Make sure you don't have a problem they won't fix, and if they do it, it will take forever to resolve.

I'm lost for words. I've had this card for 5 yrs or more.
I forgot I had it a PayPal card.
They locked it. "DON'T FORGET TO USE UR CARD."
No, to my understanding someone else is using my account for purchasing, their responses are confusing and misleading.
I can't get into my account; they are giving me the runaround. I have verified the account several times with my ID and spoke with them multiple times, and it's the same thing.
Then today, 10/07/2025, I was asked if anyone else was using my card. I replied no. A card ending in numbers I have no knowledge of. It will not let me get into the account in any way.
I think it's hacked. It's hacked because purchases are being made, not by me.
What can I do? It's been going on for over 6 months.

I deposited $280 and I spent $268, and no one can do anything except give me a PDF printout to be emailed to me of the same damn transactions I can already see. That's how I can say for sure I only spent $268 and my balance is 0. I want to know where my money is, and they keep not answering my question.
