Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Paypal contacted me & sent a full refund.
Paypal allowed classmates.com to fraudulently charge my account $96.00. I fought the charge with my bank and paypal.
My bank reversed the charge for about 1 month while they investigated. After that time, they took the $96.00 out of my account again. I was told to take the matter up with paypal. Ive called paypal multiple times explaining the issue, only to get the run around.
It was paypal that ALLOWED the fraud- yet they wont refund my money.
The whole reason I used paypal was to avoid fraud like this! Im just disgusted.

I bought $400 worth of crypto a couple days later someone sold it. It went back into my account so I bought the $200 back leaving a balance of $5.52.
Then I bought another $200 of same crypto.
Now they say I owe them $225 and blocked my account for at least 180 days. That was all my money and they stole it

As the title suggests, I've been a long-time user of PayPal, and their customer service was flawless for over 20 years. However, something seems to have gone wrong this year (2024).
Whenever I reach out to customer service, I encounter representatives who struggle to communicate effectively. Problems that I used to resolve in 30 seconds now become a frustrating ordeal.
They treat me as if I'm just some random person, despite the fact that my money is at stake here, and they are effectively holding it. Lets call it a virtual bank, shall we?
In Italy, Im routed to customer care representatives from Turkey, who neither speak Italian nor English properly.
On one occasion, I was even laughed at. Imagine leaving your money in a bank where the operator laughs at youwhat would you think of that?

A witch once stole a Canadian lady friend's Facebook account. She contacted me pretending to be her and wove a tall tale about being hospitalized and not getting discharged until her bill was paid.
She asked me to go out to a store and get an Apple card. I told her I couldn't as I was dog sitting for two senior dogs with issues. At the same time, I was waiting to see if Hurricane Milton would hit my hometown, St. Petersburg, FL.
And, it did! With my attention divided, I missed all the usual signs of deceit until my friend contacted me two days later. I attempted to stop the payment, but to no avail. From my perspective, PayPal seems to enable these thieves.
Once I make the payment, it's gone. To me, PayPal appears to be a great website for a thief, but not so ideal for honest people. This is the second time in around five years that I've lost money. From my perspective, PayPal shows little regard for the people using its service — they only care about their money!
They've been abysmal in my experience.
Sadly, I've heard PayPal badmouthing Zelle, with which I've never faced any problems. The thief is a man named Bernard Booker. He's either from Baltimore or New Jersey. I provided this information to PayPal.
And what do they do? They remained idle until my money was stolen. Five years ago, I was in Florida and my lady friend was in North Carolina. She had gotten a North Carolina cell phone number a few months prior.
So even though they had my friend's full name and contact information, the individual previously assigned my friend's phone number was notified by PayPal. That thief took my money too! When I contacted PayPal, their advice was to contact the person and ask them to return my money. As one can imagine, that didn't work out.
So, I ended up getting scammed for the second time by PayPal. They're done for me.
I wish they would hire people in the USA instead of places like India and Pakistan. From my experience, the only people who PayPal may be friends with are thieves!

I opened a PayPal account, but I don't recall when. I did not really use it.
Then, I cashed a paycheck using PayPal as it happily advertised. It was a bumpy ride, but I got through until it suddenly told me some funds are on hold because it has to investigate my seller profile, which I did not know I had.
Since then, it's been asking me to verify all this stuff, which I think is absurd. It's getting nowhere and holding my money hostage.

Im stuck in a loop, I cant log in because it does not accept my password. When I try to recover my password via email which is recognized as being linked with an account it says something went wrong without sending anything.
So I cant log in, cant make a new account since it tells me I already have an account only to not send me a recovery email when I need one.
How are we supposed to use your service when a loop like this exists without any mention of it on your troubleshooting page? I hope a human being is able to respond because calling you is basically useless

I have just noticed, several fraudulent charges on my account. One of the charges.
I was able to submit proof along with a police report and get refunded for it but I now have noticed that the charge I was refunded for for the amount of 19.99 was actually charged to me twice. And I was only refunded for it.
Once I need that fixed immediately. Also, I've found many other fraudulent charges and I don't know what's going on but here are the transaction IDs to the other ones.

You refunded me for the transaction id of 7ND878415E803960F for the amount of 19.99 from Merchant ID Z-PTL-WP-200**-*****-*RFS73-001 but the problem is that you charged me twice back to back for the same amount from the same Merchants so, I have another charge of 19.99 from the same Merchant ID Z-PTL-WP-200**-*****-*RFS73-001 which was not refunded when y'all said y'all would refund it so, not only did you, not refund it, you messed up and double charged me.
Y'all were pretty good about getting the one charge fixed even though I had to go get a police report and a judge to sign off on it so hopefully, y'all can get these resolved quickly before legal action has to be taken because this is getting ridiculous.
