My account is still registered and Ive done everything that I could possibly do form my end, I had all of that they asked me to do and I still as of right this minute and its not really looking like it will be anytime soon on PayPals end I have called them a few times now checking on my account and my money that in the account. The lady that sent me the money that she owed me for a loan has even called and talked to them too and verified that they had indeed sent the money to the right person and they still havent released my money or my account so far I really need to be able to access my money with a server urgencies.
And I dont understand why they havent released my money nor my account knowing that the account and the money that is in it is 100% my money and my account anyway I am still restricted from receiving my money or access to my account. User's recommendation: Be more considerate of the fact that they take so long in restoring your access to you account and funds that are in there and they act like they don’t care at all that you need this money for food, rent, or utilities. And it doesn’t matter to them whether you can eat or not be evicted or lose power or anything like that.

I am seeking legal counsel!
It had been over a week, and they still hadn't received the funds, so I had my bank stop one of them, and then PayPal canceled the other one. They only refunded ONE of the transactions, therefore my bank got involved in a dispute. The results of the dispute were, that they returned the other $440, however, they got sneaky about it, and someone at PayPal named Joshua falsified information stating that I had withdrawn those funds, making my balance with PayPal -$440. It wouldn't have been possible for me to withdraw those funds, as they weren't available to be withdrawn.
They just want it to go on my credit report, as they weren't happy with my bank getting involved. They thought the way to avoid any further issues with my bank was to return it and make my account with THEM negative. Furthermore, they ALSO contacted the third party I attempted to send the money and asked for it back from THEM. So talk about super confusing.
They obviously don't have their %! together! They need to rectify this situation IMMEDIATELY. I got nowhere on the phone call I had w/a woman named Ashley of which I recorded the conversation and made her aware before we even started speaking.
Now I have to deal with threatening emails from PayPal on a daily basis!!!
They OWED that money to ME, NOT the other way around!!! I am beyond PISSED!!!

I ordered some speakers from PRV they told me that as soon as they ship it, they were going to send me a tracking number. They never sent me the track number on top of it.
I never received my package. They told me they have pictures of the gentleman dropping off the package in front of my door, but that was true, they only had a picture of the gentleman leaving the truck.
They never have a picture of the gentleman dropping off the package at my front door so when I told him about this, they told me that I needed to get a police report or I have to do a claim with you guys just like I told them the police told me that they dont have to do nothing with it and they cant do nothing about it where I live theres no cameras and is a development I paid $337 for some speakers and never received it now theyre not trying to give nothing return. They want a police report and like I told them I went to the police station and they told me they couldnt do nothing about it so now, someone have to do something I cannot lose $330

A few months ago, I received 4 email fraud alerts from PayPal at service@***.com. In those emails, I was requested to call a PayPal number, which I did.
I was forwarded to a representative. I explained why I was calling. He said that he would handle the situation. He told me that in order for him to clear the frauds, I should set up an external account.
When he got everything set up, the fraud method that was used would be eliminated, and he promised me that my money would be returned with interest. In the mean time, I closed my PayPal account to prevent potential fraud. At first, everything seemed to be unusual but OK. Then my computer was hacked.
Some of my stock was sold and my IRA was raided. Over time, large amounts of my money were sent by my banks to various foreign banks via wire transfers in my name. Then one day, I asked him when my money including interest would be returned. He then told me that he lost his job, and that he could not return my money.
I was livid. But, it was too late. I should have known better, but I trusted PayPal.
I sent 6 letters to phishing@***.com explaining what happened to me. Each time, I asked them to contact me and to investigate this for me.
I assumed PayPal had the resources and the financial and security contacts to help me and hopefully return my money. Every time I sent a letter, a robo/automated response was sent to me thanking me for my letter and that they work hand-in-hand with world authorities to combat fraud and scams. I gave them all the information I had including phone numbers, bank names and addresses, account numbers, and recipient names and addresses. PayPal wont even acknowledge my situation.
This event has caused me great financial damage. I am embarrassed and foolish to ever trust PayPal, but I did to my determent.
Whether PayPal was intimately involved or not, the crime committed on me was done in PayPals name. I thought that alone would be enough for PayPal to investigate this to clear their name and I would get my money. So far, no go.
It is too late for me, but I caution anyone reading this to be weary doing business or considering doing business with PayPal. Don't choose poorly. This happened to me and it can happen to you.
Remember: If it is too good to be true it probably isnt. I wish I remembered.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Joshua Landry and Im a long-time PayPal user who has never violated the Acceptable Use Policy. Despite this, I received the horrible shock of a You can no longer do business with PayPal email today.
At the advice of counsel, Im sending you a polite message with details and information so that this policy mistake can be corrected and that my account can be restored to full functionality.
I primarily use my PayPal for sending and receiving money from my sister. In addition, my PayPal is authenticated and connected to games I sometime play where I receive occasional income from [ONLINE ACTIVITY] Everything I do on PayPal is completely legitimate.
My transactions are as follows:
June 15 received 60.00 from Lea Landry which is my sister.
June 15 received 50.00 from Lea Landry which is my sister.
Jan 2024 received my taxes from irs 2640.88.
None of these violate the AUP. To be honest, I have no idea what could have triggered this mistake. I reviewed it in close detail.
I looked on r/PayPal and I am not the only person who has had this problem - many users have been wrongly suspended for no apparent policy violation, especially within the past several days. I worry that it will shake the publics faith in PayPal as a reliable service, especially if users take their complaints to the appropriate business oversight authorities.
I plan to file complaints if my account is not restored within the expected 72-hour window.
Please forward this on to the correct internal department that handles PayPal accounts. I look forward to hearing back from you once my case is reviewed and the limitation is reconsidered.

PayPal likes to hold onto money right to your legislators your senators, your House of Representatives and your district attorney. Banks can’t get away with the stuff PayPal does why are they so special?
My issue isn't held money, but taking the money out of the wrong box, in spite of stating my "Preferred" method...trying to find a way to "mail" PayPal corporate with my issue...I don't think this is Walmart's problem, for once.
