Paypal has multiple website pages that promise a full refund, including original shipping. But caveat emptor!!!
One of the caveats, hidden deep in the bowels of their legalhub is quote "if youre filing a Significantly Not as Described claim.
PayPal may require you, at your expense, to ship the item back to the seller, to PayPal or to a third party (which will be specified by PayPal) and to provide proof of delivery." WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU IS "if the merchant makes a mistake and sends the wrong thing, the consumer is responsible for covering the costs of that mistake."
But wait! It gets worse. The merchant I purchased from posts a return policy specifying that the consumer is not responsible for return shipping when the wrong item was sent.
I ordered a black shirt and received a white shirt. Despite the merchant's return policy, PayPal refuses to process a refund until I send the white shirt back AT MY EXPENSE.
So, before purchasing something from a PayPal merchant, consider how much it's going to cost you to send it back if the merchant sends the wrong thing.

Hello. I need to access my PayPal, but it is not letting me do so without verifying my number.
I am currently abroad, and my UK SIM card is not activated, so I cannot use it. I have verified using my email, but I am also being asked to verify through my phone number. It might be because I have forgotten my password.

Look. I have been trying to close this account for a month now.
You told me that you would close it when 72 hours are up for the savings account that I didn't even know I had, so I waited. Will it up and I will not be using your stupid Zoom, it's not even on my stuff, so I don't understand why that person is having a hard-on for that. And then every time somebody puts money in there, it revokes it. I want this closed today come *** or high water!
My emails better not be used at all, I swear to God. Get me someone that can treat me like they are human, then I will be nice but I'm not dealing with those *** Get me off this, I don't care. I would rather die than use these people. And if you don't get this and they block it like I know they will, the next will be the branch office.
I promise you. If this does not get done I swear to God and on every one of my family's graves, I will make this turn into a nightmare. So close my account today and I want someone to tell me it's closed.
I did ask for that information, but I don't even want that. I just want to get away from your lying *** of *** and call please when you are done with it.

It's not an issue anymore. I had been scammed by a person impersonating PayPal and hadn't even noticed the impersonation since it was my first time using PayPal.
A call service employee helped me in acknowledging this fact and did all that she could to help. You can stop sending me emails to check in now.

On September 18, I transferred $2413 from my PayPal account to my bank. The transfer never showed up in my bank account.
I call every day to check, but nothing is there. The bank says they can't help me.
I called PayPal, and they said I sent it to the wrong person at the bank. PayPal told me they are waiting for a response from my bank, but my bank says they can't respond as they don't have any information about the transaction!

they have done nothing to help me
A block was put on my checking account due to a dispute filed. No one ever told me this information.
I've been calling customer service for 3 weeks to find out why all my payments were reversed. Agents would tell me they would put in that same account number, all payments were reversed. I opened a new checking account.
When I went to pay my bill, my account was closed because of PayPal's stupidity. No one will help me.

I am extremely frustrated. I have been a customer of paypal for 19 years.
My credit cards are processed thru PayPal by Braintree.
On April 28 $1,152.34 was processed.
It went thru April 29 on an American Express card.
I have tried unsuccessfully for over 3 months to get help to obtain my money.
At one point the risk management team reached out to me and asked me to up security on my account.
I did what was requested and was told they closed my gateway down. I dont understand this when I wanted to continue sales with you.
I have emailed with braintree support & risk management many many times,
Im wondering do I have to call the better business bureau or a lawyer? Why wont you release my money? I do not feel legally you can keep my money.
Can you help me obtain my $ and ideally set up sales again.
Id like to continue business with you and do not understand this. Please help me.

Yesterday, I was charged $498.63 from my PayPal for some kind of crypto. I have called on their number.
Then, I got a number from the PayPal support team, which is +140********. The support team then helped me and fixed everything, and I got my refund.

I had filed a dispute about a year ago which blocked my checking account I had no idea paypal never told me i didn't understand why my payments were coming backed reversed paypal kept adding the same account as my form of pmt as a result i had 7 reversed payments instead of resolving issue at hand they closed my acct this has been going 3 weeks I am so angry they put it on my credit score frustrated!!

Had several invoices that read pay pal was going to charge me so I went to Google for the customer service and the number they gave I called someone answer and said it's a scam and I going to get you to my supervisor so she said we have to verify your account so since I was not in Texas I could go to certain stores and buy gift cards.

My name is Francisco Javier Ocariz Gallego, and I'm a long-time PayPal user who has never violated the Acceptable Use Policy. Despite this, I received the horrible shock of a 'You can no longer do business with PayPal' email today. At the advice of counsel, I'm sending you a polite message with details and information so that this policy mistake can be corrected, and that my account can be restored to full functionality.
I primarily use my PayPal for online payments and 'buy now and pay later' in retail stores such as Zara, Bershka, Sephora, Mango, Uber, Spotify, and Cinema. Everything I do on PayPal is completely legitimate.
To be honest, I have no idea what could have triggered this mistake. I reviewed it in close detail. I looked on r/PayPal, and I am not the only person who has had this problem; many users have been wrongly suspended for no apparent policy violation, especially within the past several days. I worry that it will shake the public's faith in PayPal as a reliable service, especially if users take their complaints to the appropriate business oversight authorities. I plan to file complaints if my account is not restored within the expected 72-hour window.
Please forward this on to the correct internal department that handles PayPal accounts. I look forward to hearing back from you once my case is reviewed, and the limitation is reconsidered.
