I noticed 2 emails from PayPal about charges that I didn't make. Logged in to my account and disputed the charges. One charge was small but the second one hit my bank for everything I had in it. The next day I received notice from them that the declined my dispute. Called customer service and talked to a real person. they understood my account was hacked and told me that they reverced the charges and I should see them back in one to two days. Two days later not only did I not get the money the sent me more emails saying the charges were not reversed because it follows my normal account activity what ever that means. I just closed my account and they will never get me again!!! PAYPAL SUCKS !!!

PayPal in Amsterdam, North Holland - Siding with seller

Ordered a magazine subscription for a German magazine from magazinecafe.com and paid with Paypal! Never received any confirmation from the company so I called and was told they had no record but they received the money. Contacted PayPal to get a refund - $88 - but PayPal sided with the merchant who said it was an unsubstantiated claim!!!

I am done with this company! On May 15, 2019, I made a purchase from a company called Moose Finds that had an ad on FaceBook. It was a liquid lawn sprayer kit called Hydro Mousse. All I got for my money was an empty spray bottle! I emailed the seller at least 3 times and was ignored. So I contacted PayPal about the missing part of my order and filed a complaint. They said Moose Finds declined my claim and they could not help me. I let them know that this was unacceptable to me and I feel they were calling me a liar about the missing liquid that the product carton said was included.

Your initial mistake was in answering an ad on Facebook. Not a good idea to trust any ad on any social media site.

Period. The plug you received looks like a "type C" plug used in various European countries. You can buy an adapter plug to make it usable in the US as long as you verify it is not for a 220v or other system and is for our 115v.

You can probably also buy a converter to make it usable in the US but then you are going to pay more money for something that probably doesn't cost what a converter will cost. Bottom line, re-evaluate your shopping from ads on social media, and dump PayPal and go to a real bank with a checking and savings account and also a credit card----never a debit card, of course as they are extremely dangerous.

Theres no point in calling paypal you'll be on hold for hours just to be put on hold againa and again. Make sure to tell everyone not to use paypal
