I had some chargebacks for sports cards they were approved. Before I had a chance to ship back they decided to close my account and customer rep said We don’t need your business. I had used paypal for 20 years and could not access info for credit card company. What a horrible business plan, I received no shipping info and still can not access for info! They are all about the vendor and could care less about the customer!

I took another look at the email correspondence from PayPal to my email address concerning this fraudulent account. On May 22, 2016, PayPal did send an email asking the thief to confirm my email address as his, and even gave a confirmation code to enter on their site....

Stop with the "class action" nonsense. You have read of this legal action much too much.

Just stop using that email address and/or go in to it's settings and re-set your password, etc.

Geez! This is not rocket science.

they will do nothing about it, i have lost $1,540. in the other hand paymentwall will do anything to fight back while Paypal will do nothing at all. it is sad to see them doing this to us. i have now 3 accounts blocked because it was unfair how much money i lost even tough the users were happy about their items and had to ban them from my server without them having any idea of what was going on. Well thats all i have to say about paypal. note that i use both paymentwall and paypal for my payment getaways.

I recently had added some funds to my paypal account using a moneypak I purchased from a local CVS. I added the funds successfully to my account and also I already had funds in my account from sales on EBay. Well, I attempted to withdraw some funds and transfer them to my bank account which was already verified thru the PayPal system. I went to the screen to withdraw only $100.00 and I get this message, "Your account is limited and you are not allowed to withdraw any funds until the issue is resolved and go to the resolution center to resolve it. So I went to this resolution center online they have and it informed me there is a limitation on your account to due to your account associated with another email address. I looked at the email address they were stating was associated with my account and I had never seen or used this email address. So not knowing of this I went to the screen to contact PayPal and I pressed on the "Call Us" button. I got back a toll free number with a 6 digit code for a one time free call. Like anything else I got this automated system and if asked me what my issue was and how to direct my call. Finally and there are miracles I was actually speaking to flesh and blood on the other end of the phone. I explained professionally to this individual what the situation was and he was bringing up and reviewing my account. He came back and told me the limitation is there due to your account being associated with another email address. I informed him I do not know of this email address or ever had it or used it. He informed me that until I pay off the balance owed to PayPal from this email address the limitation will remain on my account. My voice started to become more stern about it and he knew I was upset about this. I asked him why would I owe a balance on another email address that I have never had. He replied there is nothing I can do to assist you any further. I replied to him and informed him you are holding my money hostage in your PayPal system due to a balance from another email address I never had...? He replied, you will have to contact our legal department in order to correct this. I replied alright what is there address and land line telephone number...? He gave me the address and then told me I can't give you a phone number as they do not have one. I said to him, no telephone number who do you think you are trying to lie to here...? He said, they have no telephone number and is there anything I can do for you and if not have a good day then hung up. Pissed wasn't the word, livid was more of the term. I couldn't believe the way I was treated, plus these Bastards are holding my money and saying I owe money for another email address associated with my account. Instead of getting more angry by the minute. I picked up the phone and called my private attorney, got him on the phone, explained the entire situation to him. He indicated to come into his office tomorrow to start and commence immediate legal action and civil lawsuit against PayPal immediately as that was the only was to legally resolve it. Don't use PayPal as sooner or later you will be burned for sure...!

PAYPAL HAS A POLICY OF SLOWLY NICKLE AND DIMING THE SELLER, UNTIL HE WISES UP. THE SO CALLED 2.9% PLUS $.30 IS ACTUALLY 6% ON ALL SMALL AMOUNTS.

ADD THAT TO THE 10% PLUS THAT E BAY TAKES AND YOU HAVE A COMPANY THAT CHEATS EVERYONE.

SINCE PAYPAL AND E BAY ARE ONE COMPANY, THEY ARE DOUBLE DIPPING THE SELLER, FORCING THEM TO ADD MORE AND MORE COST TO EACH ITEM, ESPECIALLY SINCE MOST ITEMS ARE IN THE LOWER PRICED CATEGORY. MAYBE THAT'S WHY E BAY IS LAYING OFF SO MANY EMPLOYEES.

PayPal review in Perth Amboy, New Jersey: My credit card number was stolen.

I received an E-mail about updating my PayPal credit card account, when I opened the e-mail I found a link to go to my credit card information and I noticed today that someone stole my credit card numbers and charged my card with 463 dollars and the second transaction was about 900 dollars. The e-mail I received looked like it was from PayPal, but I think it was a scam. So, please alert all of your other customers about this. My e-mail address is sjhome66@yahoo.com. I am a Paypal Master card holder and please notify me at this address once you are done with this investigation.

Paypal has the worst customer service

I waited 2 hours on hold before an agent came on the line. I told him exactly what needed to be done since I wanted to close the account and there was a limitation on the account from 2011. There are two credit cards on that account that needs to be taken off so they can be used in another paypal account. He needed to verify my information so we went through several questions and then I got put on hold again. After all that he got finally back on the line he said there was nothing he could do. This was an extremely frustrating situation and a huge waste of my time. Paypal sucks. Nothing was solved.

Ebay/Paypal Aid and Abet Internet Theft

Recently I sold several lighters to an Australian buyer called hapy_horus. While the first box of lighters was en route to this buyer,he became angry over the price of shipping on his latest purchase and decided to open six Paypal disputes against me and leave 25 negative feedbacks to punish me for not allowing him to take advantage of me. Well,Paypal ordered him to return the items to me since he claimed every single one was not as described. As soon as his tracking number showed it was delivered to me,Paypal(in spite of my overwhelming proof that he was lying and had also left death threats on my phone)closed the case in his favor. Well in the boxes delivered to me was a bunch of broken and scrap lighters covered in kerosene and not what I had shipped to him. He now had the lighters and my money. Paypal said I had to file a police report,which I did,and that I could then appeal their decision. Every seller on Ebay knows that Paypal and Ebay are owned by each other and that they do everything thing in their power to discourage sellers from getting back at buyersthat steal from them. This is done to discourage sellers fom causing problems and making them do their job which is to provide a safe marketplace. I say that Ebay?Paypal are complicit in internet theft and fraud because it happens on their watch,with their full knowledge and they fail to lift a finger to stop it. Any buyer that wants to screw a seller can do it just like this guy did to me. Complain about the item to Paypal or Ebay,return a piece of junk or an empty box and the seller will usually think it is not worth the trouble. I am fighting them to the very end. This Australian criminal has cost me over 500 dollars so far-all with Paypal/Ebay's blessing. this has to stop and the public needs to be made aware of what these two condone. As long as they get their final value fees-they don't give a ***!

It all started with me paying my Ebay bill early, according to the Supervisor at Ebay the "computer" did n ot recognize the payment, even though I had send two emails letting them know that it had been paid in full. I was suppost to get a 26.60 credit, It went from Ebay to Paypal as a Debit, from there it was sent to my bank(I only use this bank for the ebay and paypal monies)and so of course there was no money in the bank.

It was supposed tobe a credit so I called antried to explain to them that I was going to put a stop payment on the money from my bank and that it would cost me 30.00, after 4 Hrs of being on the phone, mostly being hung up on and calling back, I finally got a man who said he would credit me the 20.00 towards the stop payment charge, The guy posted that to my Ebay bill as well!!!! So now I have a 56.60 credit and still owe the bank 30.00!!! I then called paypal and explained that that money was to be put in my paypal balance so I could send it to my bank, I was unable to get a paypal debit card because "the computers were down for 4 months", and so they put it in the paypal balance along with the other 3 dollars I had, today I go online and now I owe the bank 30.00 from this but I am in the red for 16.00 to paypal!!!!! So where did that money go???

I called again and talked to three "supervisors", as far as Im concerned have *** for brains and was told" Sorry, we will NOT refund any money to you", so I am being ripped off and appareantly there is no way to gget my money back and now I owe all this money. What can I do any suggestions????? I, in the meantime an no longer selling, I took everything off ebay and shut my paypal acct. I was with both of them for over 10 yrs, I only started selling in Feb, that is when all this trouble started.

I LOST A LOT OF MONEY AND THE FEES ARE ASTRONOMICAL!!!!

anyway, for whatever purpose here is my story. BE CAREFUL, THEY WILL STEAL LIKE ANYONE ELSE AND GET AWAY WITH IT.

Paypal played no part in helping me solve my case even though they have proof

I am a seller and using paypal to receive money. I encounter with a problem with a customer that purchase three items and open a case stating that one of the item is not what they want. They pay $8.00 for the item and they open a case for an amount that is double and more …go figure if they can count. So paypal required for them to send back all of the items purchase and not just the one they had the issue with; you think the buyer can read also…go figure!!! The buyer only returns the one item they did not want. Paypal closed the case since they had tracking to confirm they I received the item. The big problem was the buyer did not return all my items I guess they could not read so I open up back the case. This issue was going on for weeks. I was told by paypal representatives that I will get back my money if the buyer don't return all my items and that I need to submit a affidavit of support I submit it twice and they still denied my case stating that I can't open a case like they buyer… go figure this statement out. Then why would they request an affidavit of support? Oh they just want to waste my time and see seller lose their money and make them stressful. Trying to Solve this issue was stressful and paypal played no part in trying to help me even get back any money. They request proof but did nothing with it. I made a loss using Paypal!!!!
