PayPal review in Chicago, Illinois: Terrible Customer Service
I wanted to pay for an item on Ebay and PayPal had used an expired credit card that was suppose to be deleted off my account and didn't show up. Next I get an email stating my item wasn't paid for and my PayPal account locked. I then had to pay by an echeck which took 5 business days for them to process. I explained to the customer service rep what had happened and why my card was not deleted, he said it was my fault and not theirs. He argued with me for ten minutes, I finally hung up. Wish Ebay would find someone else to use.
Confused and furiouse Paypal User suspended
ebay/paypal suspended account, offered no information, no appeal, no resolution. Account was suspended without warning or apparent reason. When trying to discover why, I was told I needed to obtain a subpoena. As of 12/31/12, two items had sold on ebay. The following day my account was suspended. Without any information, I didn't even know whether to ship or not. Turned out payment was held pending resolution, but as the suspension was permanent; the buyers were to be left in limbo with the seller striped of means for direct resolution. On 1/1/13 I called customer service at eBay twice, both times was shrugged off without any info. On 1/2/13 I called Paypal support and was told I needed a subpoena just to learn why I was suspended. On 1/2/13 I began receiving disputes from Paypal in regards to the products I no longer had any information about. My Paypal balance was 0, because payment was held for a new account. I issued a refund for the product I never sold or received payment for, and was informed that my Paypal account was now in negative balance. In addition, I paid $26.45 in Shipping fees that are now null thanks to the unwarranted, unannounced, and unexplained account suspension.
PayPal review in Chicago, Illinois: Pay Pal Cant be trusted
In the last few months PayPal has allowed someone in Indonesia to empty my bank account tied to my PayPal account. I got the money back a few days later, but not soon enough to avoid bounced checks due to the missing funds. Today my PayPal account was shut down because someone from the Sudan accessed my account and tried to take more money (they didnt get any because I wised up and deleted my abnk info from PayPal since they were unable to protect that information). Now PayPal wants me to send copies of my passport, drivers license, and utility bills to prove that I am who I say I am and presumbly not the person from the Sudan. PayPal cant protect my bank account information. And now they want copies of all of my identification. I am supposed to trust that they can protect that when they cant protect my money? Ive never had a single problem with my bank or any credit card I;ve ever had over the course of 15 years. Yet I've had 2 major security breaches with PayPal in under 3 months. I think PayPal isn't up to the task of protecting its customers.
PayPal review in Chicago, Illinois: Three pairs of shorts for the price of six!
I recently ordered six pairs of shorts from Kmart online and paid with my charge card trough PayPal. My order confirmation shows that I ordered and paid for six pairs. I then receive two "Your order has shipped" emails, one stating that one pair is being shipped and the other that two pairs are being shipped. They then send a three cent refund to my credit card through PayPal, that's a penny a pair? I contacted customer service and they confirmed that they are sending only three pairs and that the amounts charged are correct. I could return them to the store but the order confirmation shows six pairs instead of the actual quantity shipped, which is three. BEWARE! SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH THE MATH CALCULATIONS BEING DONE BY THE ONLINE KMART STAFF AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM IS BACKING THEM UP 100%.
Paypal did not fix a scam well known!
Paypal and Iphone unlocker pro .com are at fault on this ripp-off!! iphone unlocker pro .com took my money from paypal for a service i bought to unlock iphones. they had a 100% garuntee this will work or you will get a full refound no questions asked it is on there site in writing .I call the number and no answer at all ....then I contacted there support and they told me to try looking on youtube for a unlock..so i said what did I pay for then ? never heard from them again and they closed out my pass word to get to the support and software area, told paypal and they dumped the case and no money.......paypal sucks too
PayPal Will Not Protect You!!!
I used PayPal to buy a DVD Ripping program online. It was a download program. After two weeks of trying to get this program to work and 6 or 7 emails to the company with no help I repeatedly asked for a refund. I got nowhere. I the called PayPal thinking they would help. A claim was opened and then almost immediately closed citing that they were unable to help me because it was a download. If it was an actual program they sent in the mail they could help. SO...even though PayPay was used I am NOT getting any king of support that they claim they give. Not only did I get screwed by the first company I am getting screwed by PayPal too
