PayPal - Can't log in

I tried logging into my PayPal account, and here recently I believe someone changed my password and added a mobile phone for two-factor verification that I didn't add. Also, they changed the name on it.

Someone has had unauthorized access to my PayPal, and I need help getting back into my account and want to report the person that accessed my account illegally. Please deactivate my card immediately.

I have had an account with PayPal for 24 years. There were unauthorized activities and withdrawals from my PayPal crypto account that occurred between 20 and 24 January 2026.

I have never traded any crypto from my account since the crypto account was established. The balances in my PayPal crypto account on 19 January 2026 were: Bitcoin Cash 0.883**** Bitcoin 0.0896**** Ethereum 0.4490**** Litecoin 2.953**** The balances currently showing in my PayPal crypto account are different. My PayPal crypto account needs to be restored to reflect the crypto amounts that were in my account on 19 January 2026. Second issue - I have never applied for, received, or used a PayPal debit card.

There is now a PayPal debit card showing in my account with a negative balance of (6342.44). This amount needs to be canceled. I was told by your customer service representative that this was set up by PayPal to recover some of the amounts that were refunded to me in error, but it is not clear to me what happened. I will really appreciate it if PayPal can get these problems resolved.

Please contact me if there is any more information that you need from me. Thank you.

Unauthorized purchase charge. Request refund.

Request the seller be placed on a 'no pay' classification for any and all future charges. I have tried multiple times to contact the seller/vendor: 'P4 Labs, UAB' with no success as their listed website will not interface for contact. The dispute looks like I have, because of a previous purchase using 'PayPal' with this vendor, given them permission to charge me for an 'app' service. This was not my intention when making the purchase (a Bible) and I did not knowingly give this seller permission for any future charges to my 'PayPal' account.

- Seller: P4 Labs, UAB - Invoice #: 160317**** - Transaction date: 5/4/2026 - Amount: $28.99 - Order summary: 'Perfect Bible Book and Blessed app access.' If I cannot receive any assistance as per the above payment issue, I can and will cancel my long-standing 'PayPal' account to prevent any future unauthorized payments to this seller which I suspect to be but a 'scam' as the product I received was not 'as advertised.

Chargebacks and horrible customer service

We had been using PayPal for over 2 years. At first, it was great, then on a large transaction over $5,000.00, they all of a sudden held the money, claiming they couldn't release it.

Finally, a month later, they released it, but I had to use my business debit card to make purchases; I couldn't withdraw money to the bank. When I went to make a larger purchase, which is what the customer sent the money for, PayPal denied the transaction. So, I called to let them know how much and that they would be running the card; they told me it was good. However, after 3 days of me throwing an absolute fit, they finally approved it.

We thought about switching to them, but we just didn't use them for a few months. We contacted them and told them we are a mobile diesel repair service and we need things to go the way they had been. Sometimes we receive thousands of dollars, which are for our company to be able to purchase heavy-duty truck parts, and we didn't have time to have money tied up for any amount of time. So, they said they raised the limits and everything was good.

For a while, it was. Now, at the beginning, I asked about the chargeback insurance, which PayPal said, 'Don't worry, you're covered; you have protection.' They forgot to mention the protection was only if my customer filed the dispute with PayPal and not the customer's bank. Nobody calls the person taking the money; they (myself included) almost always call the person who issued the card or the company that is releasing the money. The only other way chargeback protection is covered is if you have a USPS tracking number for the part.

USPS doesn't do that when you are installing the part on the customer's vehicle. So my first chargeback was from a guy who claimed unauthorized use of the card.

I had text messages stating, 'OK, run card.' We did, and 30 days later, he didn't want to pay; he got off of the turnpike, ended up on private property, and they towed. I'm okay.

EVEN TRYING TO CONTACT THROUGH ITS LEGAL BRANCH DID NOT WORK.

IT IS BIG AND CAN MERELY DISREGARD COMPAINTS AND REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION. ABOUT ONE'S ACCOUNT.

Again, I am attempting to investigate what happened to my PayPal account.
I have emailed several times over the course of about two years. I have telephoned several times over that time.

Each time, I have given all the information I have.
Essentially, PayPal is telling me to go solve the problem on my own... even after submitting all the information I have about my account.
Unfortunately, on 22Feb2024, I INVESTED $500.00 into what I assumed to be my account, just as I had done previously. At no time did I receive any indication from PayPal that it was no longer my account, or that it had been stolen by another entity.
At some point, I was not able to download account monthly statements, and, not until November of 2022 was I able to obtain a statement. That statement showed an address not mine.
Help from PayPal continued to be essentially non-existent.

I could only telephone and write to PayPal.
To no avail.
Has PayPal done research, any search into the screwup with addresses on the statements? If not a screwup, was the change made correctly, but by mistake?
I have tried several times, by phone, by email, by letter to obtain help. Why is it not the SOLO responsibility of PayPal? I reported it timely.

I contacted -- attempted to contact -- your legal department. No response. No help.

IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO SOLVE THIS! Is there no responsibility on the part of PayPal?

What happened to me was unbelievable and a worst site is Capital DEPO they sold me fraudulent items three and scammed me out of $2000 and eBay is refusing to refund three items that now you have to pay import tax on a third-party when eBay states you cannot pay anything outside their claim I wrote them letters. I am going through *** right now. I have been scammed by eBay by PayPal and buy depot of over $5000.

I loaded a PayPal debit card because it was late. Midnight, I didn't know what accounts it went into, so I just transferred it into my business account, which is linked to my debit card, to just pay bills.

Just received an email stating my PayPal account's been permanently banned with no right to appeal. I haven't received any customer complaints, chargebacks, or cause for refunds.

Just woke up this morning to a banned account. My funds are now trapped in this account. No explanation.

Poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend PayPal for online transactions.

there was no transactions or access to balance account given to me. And no violations of AUP. the hold is not a penalty or a right. you admit to concluding yoir investigations in 1 day and made final conclusions.

180 days is arbitrary and is for balance accounts and merchant accounts. your unable to identify any actual risk. you should not have accepted deposits for unverified account. how are you even holding funds in an acct you didnt activate?

how do you accept deposits on accounts that arent opened? And how does holding these funds protect paypal from liability? the funds should not have been accepted. It was the ach transfer itself that caused the limitation.

there is no reason for paypal to not return the ach transfer if its interest was protecting from liability. Im done with your foolish coercion.you cant even understand your own policy.

I TRIED TO SET UP DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR MY CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS AND TO RECIEVE BACK PAY. I SETUP PAYPALAND THE DIRECT DEPOSIT.

I RECIEVED 4 PAYMENTS WHEN THE 4TH DEPOSIT FROM CHILD SUPPORT CAME PAAYPAL LOCKED MY ACCOUNT AND ASKED ME TO SUBMIT PROOF. I SUBMITTED PROOF AND THEY SAID WE DECIDED TO BAN YOU AND WE ARE KEEPING YOUR MONEY FOR 6 MONTHS!!! THERE WAS NOT ANY UNATHOURIZED ACTIVITY BECAUSE i COULD NEVER ACCESS THE ACCOUNT.INSTEAD OF JUST DECLINING THE DEPOSITS OR RETURNING THEM THEY WANT TO STEAL $16.048 AND NOW iM BEING EVICTED BECAUSE THIS WAS FOR RENT.
THEY SAY ITS FINAL DECISION BUT NOT WHAT I SUPPOSEDLY DID. THEY MAY AS WELL OF ROBBED ME WITH A GUN AND BURNED MY HOME.

I reported an authorized transaction that has since been resolved. PayPal then limited my account because they are trying to force me to change my password.

It has been established that PayPal, acting as the third party, has been allowing Kiro Brands to charge my account. So no one has my password or has been in my account but PayPal. I am refusing to change my password and have asked this to be elevated to a supervisor/manager. I have spoken with Danny (female) and Frank, who are both refusing to escalate the matter, saying that it is not possible.

I'm escalating this to the Better Business Bureau at this point. It is the consumer's right to escalate this matter, and refusal to do so breaks PayPal and my consumer agreement.

You are illegally blocking consumer accounts because we dispute transactions that are not valid, thus penalizing the consumer for exercising their right to do so. This is an illegal process with no valid explanation.
