I called paypal to open a case they said not to worry if the seller doesnt respond within 5days I will be refunded the seller sold me an item that did not work it was a deficted item I called ebay and they directed me to paypal paypal did not correspond with me about the seller notifing them paypal said they send me email I never got ant email from them if I would have not called I would have never knew what was happening anyways when I called the first time they said the seller was responsible for the return shipping after the seller responded then paypal turn the whole information around with a stament that went like this oh the buyer has to pay for return and then he will be refunded well this is not true they lie about everything they work only for the seller

Title: PayPal appeal denied for being honest person! I recently opened a PayPal account two months ago in order to sell the inventory I bought and accumulated from Macys throughout the years as I am an employee in that department store. Every holiday we get Presales and items up to 50-70 off so it's a privilege working there and having a ebay to sell sounded great. So I went ahead and asked my Friend to borrow his ebay on oct 2014 so I can list most of the stuff as he has high limits to sell. I went ahead and sold in his account for 1 month and half. Made $14000 as I tried to get rid of most of my inventory for the holidays I'm thinking this is going to be a good christmas for my family. Over the course of that month and half sold over 190 items just 9 returns as buyers said that items were dirty and defective or changed their minds , i refunded them. But I left the money in PayPal without withdrawing it. Big mistake . I tried withdrawing just $1400.,, it went through. Again 4 days later I tried withdrawing $1400 it looked as if it was going to go to my account.... 1 day later I receive a notice to my email . Bank account withdrawal reversed, along with that 3 minutes later a PayPal friendly email saying " Your account access has been limited" ... I'm thinking ok I'm not doing anything wrong maybe they do this to every new PayPal member. This is exactly what it says Your PayPal account has been limited because we've noticed a significant difference in the types of goods or services you are selling. As your payment processor, we need to better understand these changes and how they relate to your sales. What does this mean?This account limitation will affect your ability to: • send money• withdraw moneyAdditionally, you cannot:remove any bank accounts• remove credit cards• close your account Also I couldn't send or withdraw money. I went into PayPal and it asked for supplier contact information and invoices. So I went ahead and attached my recent Macys credit card statements 3 pages full of transactions of items raging thousands dollars and my employee discounts . So ….2 days pass my $14000 (almost 2 months of sales on ebay) still in PayPal(most of my inventory better to sell in holiday times so i rushed it ) and then this is what they write . when they reply Please submit Tax ID information for your PayPal account---------------------------------------------------------------------- To comply with the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) rules, we ask that yousubmit your Tax ID number to us as soon as possible. Your Tax ID number isone of these: - Your Social Security Number (SSN)- Your Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)- Your Employer Identification Number (EIN) We are required to obtain tax ID numbers from all online sellers whoreceive payments for goods or services through PayPal. If you do notprovide us with your Tax ID number, your account access will be limited,and you will be unable to request or receive money. After you provide usyour Tax ID number, your account will be fully functional. Here's how to submit your Tax ID number: 1. Log in to your PayPal account. 2. A message will appear asking you to update your information. 3. Click Provide Now and follow the instructions. If you have multiple PayPal accounts, repeat these steps for each account. (I found out later they don't require social security only if you exceed $20000 in sales which I still haven't ) So it said in that email my account will be fully functional after I add my social security . So I did… Ha if only it was that easy. I submitted it in website then 4 days passed. So I emailed them and phoned them up . The PayPal representative told me that they couldn't find the items I was selling on the statements. So we go back one step! When the previous email had said all I needed to add is my social !I thought we had that already resolved. Now I'm starting to get Angry .So I sent Online receipt Of Macys from my orders As I bought many hair removal kits that were on clearance and sold a lot of them. So I again went to my macys online to view order history . And later sent them the specific of most items in selling and what they asked for.They write this couple days later -We're sorry, but we cannot restore full access to your account until wereceive additional information. Please provide a copy of each of thefollowing items: - Original bills of sale or invoices referencing your purchase oracquisition of the items you are selling, along with the name and telephonenumber of your suppliers. The previous invoices provided are invalid as theitems you are selling are not sold at Macy's.----------------------------------------------------------------- Resolve issues from other accounts----------------------------------------------------------------It appears that you have or are connected to multiple accounts that haveunresolved issues. Before we can lift the limited access on your account,you will need to resolve these issues, including bringing any negativebalances to zero and resolving all complaints. What in the heavens!!! I DONT HAVE A SUPPLIER!!! IS THIS REQUIRED FOR PAYPAL OR WHAT…And they dare say the items aren't sold on maces! i have proof.>;O I feel Im Being treated like a crook !!I thought they just wanted to know if i actually bought the items I'm selling so i had sent them a lot of receipts and statements,! Now I'm starting to think this will be impossible to lift of they think I'm a thief or something.The invoices i attached the previous ones had the items specific on them unless they are blind or something.And also dare say i am related to other paypal accounts! i live in address that over 14 different people live in why would it be my responsibility for other people. After this i Then i go ahead and read forums about this happening to other people for no reason at all.So after this i Call them again.Oh my talk about being given the run around for no reason. The paypal representative told me that they couldn't verify my invoice. He even sounded confused as to why they hadn't lifted my restriction.He then told me to send them either a Hire letter,pay stub or anything that proves i work at Macys. Gladly i told him i will.( I really hoped throughout This they wouldn't contact macys as i can get fired i even told him if they find out i buy stuff from them to sell online…Embezzlement i would get fired from Macys) So that very same night i manage to find My w2!! From macys and my promotional letter that has my name and date of hire and the date i was promoted.I was happy.I quickly scanned the papers to my computer I went ahead to paypal.com and attached the documents…….WHAT HAPPENED NEXT I COULDN'T BELIEVE! And now GE Capital Retail Bank, GE Money Bank, GE Capital Retail Money Bank & now Synchrony Bank the new name which is the fourth (4) name of these "EVIL ITS" or what ever they are called are being investigated by the United States Postal Inspector for fraud through the mail this pertains to late fees charged "Illegally".

Paypal allows Int'l eBay Sellers to steal money

Ebay has created a nice little loophole, wherein an international seller can avoid getting bad feedback and keep your money because EBay won't address any problems after 45 days, even though the shipping time for international is 6-8 weeks. So I contacted Paypal, and their policy is the same. They might tout all their "Buyer Protection" but there is no follow through and they refuse to help, suggesting you contact your bank or the FBI Fraud Department. I will NEVER use PayPal again and I'm trying to find a way to lodge a formal complaint against both companies. Note: The Seller's name is "nileart".

PayPal, eBay - Crooks with a License!!!

I have been an upstanding member with eBay and Paypal since 2006 as a seller. 100% positive feedback, top rated seller and power seller. I had always suspected they were in cahoots in terms of double-dipping during invoice time. When I finally had hard proof that any person with a single digit IQ could understand, eBay and Paypal. didn't. Now as I try and close my PayPal acct they keep blocking me. Any suggestions? By the way, I complained twice to the Better Business Bureau and never received an answer. I wanted to know how eBay had an A+ rating when there were almost 200 complaints just on the BBB site. I investigated further and I found out eBay is on the board at BBB. Gee, no wonder the A+ and no response from BBB. Their credibility went in the toilet! Once again, deep pockets fu%#s the consumer!

I hope you know that virtually every company does it, and every company has too have means of income-in this case fees that paypal and ebay collect for allowing you to USE THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE TO YOU! I cant believe how hard headed consumers have become, i am still young but can see that people seem to think that if they raise there voice and file complaints/disputes that they will get what they want. The consumer is not always right although some companies do have deep enough pockets to make it seem that way.

Paypal took money from my bank without my knowledge

Something happend with a client that used paypal. Paypal took the money out of accounts which that client paid including $800 directly from my bank account, plus $45 processing fee. When I got on the phone with them after much much drama and three way calling, they put the money back in my account minus $45 processing fee, and by the end of this whole deal, paypal took around $150 out of my money and I did nothing to them, nor did I know what was going on. They are a bank but they think they don't have to operate after the rules of the banks. I wish another program will get invented which I can use instead of this evil Paypal operation. I try to use it only when there is no other way. Paypal is evil, bad, I try to stay away from ever having to use it.

Trying to work out what's going on. Paypal transferred 100 dollars out of my bank account to my Paypal account.

The amount is still mine, it's just now with Paypal. I did not authorize them to to do this and am totally stumped as to the reasoning behind it.

My Paypal is set up to only take money when I buy stuff, and only then to pay for whatever it is I'm buying. This could have been a problem when it came to pay bills, they did it right at the beginning of the month.

If this is true this is totally scary! Especially that they took money out of your bank account.

I had no idea they were authorized to do that without your consent.

The reason I started to use pay pal is so that only the amount in pay pal is at risk. I see it as a barrier to protect my bank account.

Believe me or not, I had this happen to me. I tried calling customer service but I think it was the wrong number.

I ended up talking to a security guard. http://www.stpsguards.com/service-details.php?service=10 He was willing and listened to my problems though and told me the right number to call.

PAYPAL STEALS OUR FUNDS!

Paypal holds onto the buyer and sellers money to earn interest on it by using the term "DSR" which even though you sell on ebay and have all positive feedback, they make you shipp the item without ever even being paid yet! They created this new feedback of positive, neutral anf negative. If someone just puts neutral they automatically make you ship your sales out without payment until the buyer gives positive feedback or the tracking shows your item arrived. The so called silicon valley intellectuals are not so bright, I hate to even go to ebay anymore and tell everyone what a sham paypal and ebay are. They ruined it for me and I never had a problem before this. I am selling elsewhere, isn't there another competitor out there to take their place? Let me know...
