I was in violation of their policy about selling tobacco related products.I had no idea that was the policy and had literally sold $67.25 worth of cigars the entire year. As soon as I got the notification, I immediately took down all of the cigars from the site.
I contacted customer service and was told that there was nothing that could be done. The decision was final and that was that. I scoured the site looking for a path forward and then had to Google info in regards to this. Come to find out there is an appeal process.
I contacted PayPal and asked to get to a supervisor to discuss and explained the situation. He said he would pass along the information and ask that they review it. In a couple of hours I got another e-mail from PayPay thanking me for complying and that my account was reinstated. Then a couple days later they blocked it again and I then called again to customer service and they said they would send the request once again but they couldn't promise anything.
I just think that they should first warn someone if they are in violation and let them fix it before they ban you. THey need to better inform customer service of the policies and procedures for their actions.
