Paypal
I have used paypal three times to sell items on ebay and two of those three times I've not received the payment because of paypal's screwup. When I called the service number-long distance the rude ignorant person I spoke to blamed me for the problem. Also, it took her an hour to get it straightened out. Last time payment wasn't received at all, and paypal did nothing about it. I don't trust them, they know how I felt and I am very hesitant to use their service and do not trust them at all!! Horrible!!!

Paypal is illegally holding my money
i am extremely pissed at paypal/ebay.. i sold my imac computer on ebay a few days ago. the buyer paid me via paypal. the payment showed up in my acc straight away, but, 2 days later when i tried to transfer the funds to my bank account paypal restricted my account and is witholding my money. they claim "its because it was a new computer and an amount higher than had been in my account before'..what a load of ***.. they will not release any of the money untill i provide them with proof of the original purchase and also proof that the item has been sent to the buyer. i sold the computer so i could by my daughter a new 1 for xmas with the money but that ship has sailed thanks to those ***. also the buyer paid me for postage of the item and paypal/ebay will not even release me enough for that. so i am expected to post off my computer at my expense all without recieving a cent and hope that paypal gives me back my money..yes thats right "gives it back " as the money was already in my acc and they took it without my permission and are with holding it. now where i come from that sounds alot like theft..finally when my husband asked them to qoute the legislation/law that allows them to that he was transferred to a supervisor who answered only to tell him they had heard enough and thanks for calling and hung up on him, leaving us to think that have no legal right to do it. no-where in their ageement does it state they can do that, in fact it states the opposite, that they are a payment processing system only acting as a contractor for you to send and recieve money through. they have no legal power to sieze your money, especially for doing the right thing. we have done nothing wrong. our ebay desription was 110% truthful and we have the computers purchase reciept so we have nothing to hide so why is it we are being treated like drug dealers that have thier assets frozen while they are investigated..i spose becuase they are ebay the feel they have some god given right to *** whenever and however they please..except if your a power seller then you can do what you want and recieve as much bad feedback as you like and its fine by ebay. and ebay will even kick you off if you have the hide to complain about it. average joe gets kicked off for 1 bad feedback but these people get away with anything. probly just as well thier office is in the u.s and im in australia otherwise i dont think id be able to resist the urge to go to thier office and physically relieve my frustrations on faces and f#$%#n heads. finally i would just like to say that ebay, paypal any other company ebay owns and its WILLING employees along with the dishonest power sellers, you are gastric spewing from the rancid and vile festering depths within the bowels of humanity and may you 1 day drown in your own filth...! if only thier parents used a jiffy condom.. M.H ....AUSTRALIA

PayPal ripoff
So I just won a large ticket item off of eBay and naturally attempted to pay with PayPal immediately after winning. Big mistake. I checked everyday to see that status of my payment. My bank account was certainly not the problem. After two weeks the seller became impatient for my payment which was locked up somewhere in PayPal's payment dungeon. I can hardly blame them for being so impatient but PayPal takes forever to process a payment. And for what? So they can make interest off of my money after charging me with fee after fee? I don't mind paying for a service whatsoever. In fact, I find with many things in life that "you get what you pay for" but the problem is that I'm really getting nothing but a giant headache from PayPal and eBay.

Love
PayPal&GE Money First they took our money unlawfully- right out of an account. They Never allowed us to make full payments without ever getting hung up on first. During difficult and high tech telephone transferring seystems to the more and even more appropriate associates, and after loosing every connection, I learned to be at peace with my inner self esteem. They Made E-Bay and the Net seem more like a scam party than achivements of intelligent shopping and fun- the human mankind is so doomed, Huh! GE Money! Go go! But I met Yohammed and fell in love through GE M. Now we're moving to a 3rd world country to get away from this awfull free America. Doomed white trash

PAYPAL Scam
Just tried to get PAYPAL account for ebay and that went fine. Used credit card. Now up pops info that says I need to be Verified. OK I choose get PAYPAL credit card, fill out total application including last 4 digits of SS#. Another window comes up and says to call a number to finish. I call number and they want my SS# complete over the phone. I said no and they said they can't help me if I don't do this. I had to call another number to cancel PAYPAL and that number told me to call another number which said call back Monday-Friday ect. Why did they think I would give my SS# to a person on the phone in India or where ever. But, now they have all my credit info. Laws need to be made that the site must show and explain all the information your going to be asked for before you are required to fill in the form. It's a lowlife information mining ploy!

PAYPAL SUCKS!
Paypal sucks and I'm sure there are sellers out there that have found out the hard way. Everybody thinks Paypal protects you but they don't. They think if somebody takes your money that you get it back. Sometimes you do but most of the time NOT! The only way you get your money back is if that money is still sitting in the paypal account of the seller. Once that money is transfered and has cleared into there bank account- that is it. Say goodbye to your money. I did a transaction and paid over $1300.00 to a supplier in China that was paypal verified. AFter about 3 days and no tracking number, I put in a dispute. Out of that $1300.00, all I got back was $235.00 because that was all that was in there paypal account. Guess what-that was over a year ago. Paypal said they would try but they haven't done *** to help. Recently again I ordered some items and paid my supplier thru paypal. Now this time, it wasn't my supplier that screwed my, it is paypal. I paid over $300.00 and paypal froze my account and my suppliers. They recentently reverersed the amount sitting in my suppliers account back into paypal. So, where is the refunded money. It should show in my account, but it's not and they are not answering my emails. Please buyers and sellers - BEWARE OF PAYPAL! USE GOOGLE CHECKOUT INSTEAD. They go a step further then paypal- they will actually go into the bank account to get that money back. If they cannot, then they get the attorneys to handle it. I'm not new to paypal either. I've had them for a few years. So if you think your OK because your an old customer- think again!!!

PAYPAL STEALS OUR FUNDS!
Paypal holds onto the buyer and sellers money to earn interest on it by using the term "DSR" which even though you sell on ebay and have all positive feedback, they make you shipp the item without ever even being paid yet! They created this new feedback of positive, neutral anf negative. If someone just puts neutral they automatically make you ship your sales out without payment until the buyer gives positive feedback or the tracking shows your item arrived. The so called silicon valley intellectuals are not so bright, I hate to even go to ebay anymore and tell everyone what a sham paypal and ebay are. They ruined it for me and I never had a problem before this. I am selling elsewhere, isn't there another competitor out there to take their place? Let me know...

Tried to force me to give bank account info!
So, I have been using Paypal for 5 years. All of a sudden, they refuse to honour my credit card. I ask my husband to use his account and they unilaterally decide to refuse any credit card to pay for items with my ebay name. I have a transaction and the customer service who is bulllshit tells me to give bank info and they will approve my buy purchase. I was way under their limit .....are they *** kidding me? No they are completely serious. FYI Credit cards can be equally verified. No reason for this. They were literally forcing me to give them my bank account info....HELLO!!!!!! They say either or in there user statements, but obviously don't mean it. You CAN verify a credit card! I cancellled my account.

Beware Paypal
A little over two years ago I had a paypal account, one day I logged into the account and saw that there was some unauthorized charges on there I attempted to contact them, within a few hour it had drained my bank account and kept going between the bank fees and the actual amounts I was 22,000 dollars in debt. Thankfully I was able to catch the problem and my bank has fraud protection. That was and will always be the last time I use paypal and/or Ebay-which owns paypal. Oh and after the incident paypal wanted me to enter my social security number to 'verify' myself, yeah right.

Paypal (Ebay) fraud via decisions, creating Law.
Paypal has made sellers reimburse buyers for damaged items when the buyer has not filled out claim forms for the shipping company. I believe that sellers don't mind reimbursing buyers if the buyer does what is required of any person receiving damaged goods from the shipper; that is to fill out claim forms supplied by the trucking company. How can a seller honestly and with good faith sign a claim from for something that he can't see? Paypal decisions need closer scrutiny by Paypal. I don't want to use paypal anymore and I am increasing my business.

Paypal - ever seen the movie Rainmaker??
Paypal is handy until you come across an unhappy customer (Ebay). There are a few loopholes that most people are NOT aware of. #1: You MUST ship with a tracking number or USPS Delivery Confirmation number, this is the first thing you are required to supply to Paypal should a claim be opened against you. It does NOT matter the papertrail you have proving it was shipped if you do not have this information. #2: Ebay and Paypal are owned by the same company but NEITHER side has a clue what the other side is up to. Most Paypal employees are only as educated to what is on their computer screen at the time and NEVER take a reps' word that they are noting something on your account. #3: Even with a tracking number/ Delivery Confirmation number, if your purchase totals more than +$250 you have to HAVE signature confirmation. - It is a nightmare. I shipped with UPS a lot of mostly brand new with tags little girl's clothing. It arrived, my buyer posted positive feedback and even emailed to comment about what a "great buy" they got and how "happy" they were with their purchase... almost a week later they email saying their items had a strong "pesticide" odor and want a refund. The only thing that "smelled" was this Ebayer's story, so I offered to help them file a UPS insurance claim, and as expected they declined. Case closed I thought until I got an email about a Paypal claim. I had all my ducks in a row, insured, tracking number, the Paypal "claim" was closed in my favor, but still my account was frozen because THEY PAID BY CREDIT CARD AND FILED A "PAYPAL CHARGEBACK". So again the ENTIRE transaction was again yanked out of my account and my account was in the negative - I received the "threat of fixing this negative balance or else" email. I phoned Paypal and was told to ignore it, I was told the "credit card company is like a school bully with lunch money, that [Paypal] is required to hand it over until the investigation is through". That was a direct quote from a Paypal supervisor. It took every bit of their 120 (BUSINESS) days timeframe to get this settled and IT ONLY WAS SETTLED IN MY FAVOR because I didn't back down and was on the phone (friendly though) at least once a week.

Stole money my Bank after ordering them not to.
I was buying something , Trying to pay with Paypal, It took money from my bank $1600.00, Insuficant funds, Was supposd to come from Credit Card, Bank didn't honor. I Checked IP Address, was suppost to go to China, was being sent to California, I called Paypal told them it was a scammer, They said they would hold my funds Till they recieved a Tracking Number and My Signature after I verified the shipment with the UPS driver Present, the delivery one LN52A650 Samsung HDTV USA Model with all warranties, so I placed $1600.00 in Bank , and Paypal immediatly sent the money anyway,5-11-2008 no tv yet.I emailed and told them over 20 times not to send any funds till I recieve the package, They have different answers depending on who you talk to.I was in contact with Paypal executive fraud department, Still no satifaction, so I got a Stop Payment from the bank going on now, I never realized how BAD Paypal is and I have over 200 positive feedback with no netural or Negative, they do whatever the can to get you money, such as making paying by Credit Card BOX look like you can't Check it, anything they can to get your money, Guess what Ebay owns them. So Be Very Carful With Paypal, For They Will Get You If They Can.

Paypal steals your money
PLEASE NEVER JOIN PAYPAL, you will be doing yourself a great favor. Paypal service center is the worst I have been in contact with. Nobody is resourceful, they treat you the way they want, one cannot talk to one of their supervisors, they charge for freaking investigations they perform. Please spread the word. All I wanted was to be heard as a customer and they laught at me. I would love to get an email of their top executives to see if this if just customer service, or if it is a general organizational culture. PAYPAL if you keep doing this, all these customers will fight to get you shut down.

PayPal stole $75 from me.
I sold an item on Ebay.com. Auction terms clearly stated "as is" and "final sale". As per ebay's tos, bidding implies compliance by the buyer. Buyer decided he wanted to return the item after receipt; I declined. Buyer instigated complaint with Paypal, who didn't do any research whatsoever and decided to debit my account and give my money to the buyer ($75). Paypal's email states that this has left my paypal account $75 in the negative and they intend to debit my personal checking account to retrieve the funds. I wrote them and expressly stated that they are NOT authorized to do so. Their email stated that if they could not retrieve the funds, they will send me to collections and damage my credit.
