PAYPAL SCAMS SELLERS EVERY CHANCE THEY GET

PayPal purposely places 21 and 60 day holds on sellers accounts purposely to steal money. They just changed their policies (again) to give them the ability to start locking accounts and stealing money. If you get that hold, as a seller dont ship anything out because your not legally paid for it. Paypal charged the card they are legally responsible for it. They love doing this to everyone, not just new accounts. Ever since they got sued in Sept 2016, had our accounts held for 21 and 60 days just now for no reason. Its the games they play. They encourage buyers to file disputes for no reason, (see their new commercial telling buyers file a dispute you get free return shipping and the phone messages on hold, "got a problem file a dispute" every 10 minutes) If you get limited do not send them any information, they will just use it against you. If your limited you stay limited thats that. If you get a 21 or 60 day hold, walk away from the account, once they see they arent making any money off you (refund any amounts that are on hold) they will reinstate your account faster. If PayPal doesnt transfer the funds into your bank account (1) your under no legal obligation to ship anything out because PayPal decided not to complete the transaction and (2) PayPal is responbile for the chargeback not you. They charged the buyer's credit card, they are the ones that are legally responsible. PayPal will never go into your bank account, they will try to trick you to move the funds from your bank account, promise you this and that, but what they are really after is your money. If they get a collection agency after, in either event, contact the FTC and the attorney generals office. Collection agency after you by PayPal (NCO) simple say , prove the debt is owed. Prove that PayPal transferred the funds into your bank account and completed the transaction. Do not send them any bank statements or anything. tell them to proved documented proof that PayPal charged you a fee for the service and never completed their obligation. File complaints against both the collection agency and PayPal.

I had a similar problem with PayPal in the past. They did a clearly fraudulent transaction deducting fron my account though no product was delivered and plus charges for transaction.

Later they restricted me from using their service I got to know from their emails after they set up baits of more fraudulent emails I refused to follow. Be aware of their activities.

I recently opened a paypal account to complete a sale of a vehicle but unknown to me was you should not use a screen name to open an account but paypal says nothing about that in its terms and conditions well the buyer deposits cash into my account and the many different reasons paypal gives for limiting funds you can withdraw and holding funds starts the buyer was pleased and approved sale yet my funds will be held seven months before they can be withdrawn talk about bait and switch basically if you been duped by paypal send your complaints to the new United States Attorney General because paypal no longer has friends in the Whitehouse so maybe now disgruntled paypal account holders can get their money back

HORRIBLE PAYPAL EXPERIENCE, 113 FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS

I recently had 113 unauthorized paypal transactions and my account was overdrawn for over $10000 due to paypal fraud. The only thing that goes through my paypal account on a monthly basis is Netflix payment. When I contacted paypal, they were not helpful at all and first they said there system got hacked into and they said they had taken care of of the transactions and refund them back to me. 2 days later all those 113 unauthorized paypal transactions went through my account and when we call paypal back, they blame us and even try to blame my bank and online banking. My husband does not even do online banking and they denied that there system got hacked. Screw paypal it is not safe, customer service is bad and lots of attitude. When we asked them when this is going to be resolved, the supervisor said ” I don’t work for you”, really this is how you respond to your client to help your client resolve errors by your company. My mortgage payment got returned as a result of that and I got charged NSF fees. I never bounced a payment in my life and I cannot even redirect payments to other account because my account is overdrawn $10000 and needs to get my full refund back first. This is why many users are going stealth using the help of the Aspkin forums or Auction Essistance.

IM SCAMED WITH PAYPAL APROVED

In November i sell some items online with paypal as payment, later the buyer open a dispute try to return the items, I found it doubtful since begin, and despite my arguments and documentation, paypal decided in buyer favor. For me, no problem, i receive my items and sold it again. The buyer senta tracking number (i was unabled to track it in all the tracking and posts sites) to the process and i wait for the package to see if the items are in original condition and close the case, but hte package wont arrive... one month later paypal close the case without my aproval. I contact the support (several times until now), and after some calls, they give me a new tracking number (diferent for the first), and in this, apears the iformation that the item as return to the sender because adress issues (but another lady in other time, tells me taht the picture buyer sent to paypal as the correct adress). Until now paypal keeps close the case, but i wont receive my items back, at this moment the buyer has both the MONEY and the ITEMS, and paypal keeps close the case like everything is fine. And in any of my recent contacts all the tel me is "the case is solved in favor of the buyer, i can apeal for you bit the resolution can keeps the same". and nobody listen that i give a *** to dispute result, i just whant my items back, if paypal decide to refund the buyer, is her duty to ensure that the seller receives what have sent... like i said, im got Scamed Powered by PayPal

PAYPAL COMPANY STEALING MONEY FROM COSTUMERS

I bought Two Pairs of shoes from ONLINE SHOES WEBSITE last NOVEMBER-2016,one pair was too small ,ONLINE SHOES was nice enough to accept return even though it was on clearance sale,they even gave me free shipping label.ONLINE SHOES has e-mailed me that they refunded PAYPAL LAST NOV-2016 with the amount of the shoes that I returned.Well PAYPAL refused to refund my money to be placed back in my account,and up until this day that I have e-mailed PAYPAL and forwarded e-mail that ONLINE SHOES SEND ME about the refund ,PAYPAL STILL ASKING FOR MORE DOCUMENTATION from me.I cannot understand what documentation that PAYPAL needed ,PAYPAL WAS JUST STEALING MONEY FROM CONSUMERS,PLEASE DO NOT USE PAYPAL TO PAY FOR ANY OF YOUR TRANSACTION BECAUSE THAT COMPANY WERE THIEVES.

Trying to make a charge on my CLOSED account

I received a charge from an authorized vendor on my PayPal account. Fortunately for me the card on file at my PayPal account had expired so they didn't make payment and sent me an email. I contacted the original vendor via email and logged into PayPal and deleted my expired credit card. I also sent an email to PayPal informing them to not pay the vendor. I received two emails from PayPal - one to say they deleted my credit card and one saying they don't respond to email. So, I logged into my account to let them know and guess what, they didn't delete my credit card. So I deleted it again and closed my PayPal account. I got two emails - one that they deleted my credit card and one that they were sorry to see me go and that my account was closed. Three days later I get an email from PayPal stating that they once again tried to charge my credit card from the unauthorized same vendor? What? I CLOSED my account. How could PayPal possibly try to charge something to my CLOSED account? Once again, I tried to email PayPal with a copy of their email, and once again no luck. I called them this time and after the automated answering hassle I talked to someone. I gave them my old closed account information and they looked it up and said all we see is a closed account, I said Exactly! So why are you even trying to make a charge against my closed account. They said don't worry, it won't go through. If it won't go though, why did you even accept the charge? Don't worry... This is why I closed my account with PayPal. They're too loose with my financial information. A closed account should be closed, not sort-of, don't worry about it, it will be OK closed. Based on the email I received from PayPal I expect that they will once again try to charge my closed account in 5 more days.

Lack of Refund for returned item.

I purchased a product from Ebay for a Xmas present to a relative. Item turned out to be defective. After much run around about my not being able to print out a return label, my relative returned said item via USPS at her expense. Then after not hearing from anyone I submitted a claim to Paypal. Big mistake. Never deal with Paypal if at all possible. They put you on long phone waits, and or refuse to accept the phone number you submit to be called back on. And get this. I purchased an extended warranty, and when contacted all they did was return the money I paid for the warranty. What good was this? I then contacted Ebay, and was told the situation was no longer theirs since I submitted a claim with Paypal. Talk about runaround!! Now Paypal doesn't accept my proof in the form of a USPS tracking number that product was returned for a refund. It's taken all week to get nowhere with Paypal. They owe me my refund and refuse to give me one. And originally I tried to contact the seller for an exchange, and they never contacted me back, or were available to answer phone calls. I am at this point most pissed with all concerned. I will be toning down my buying from Ebay, with payments to Paypal. Boy is that name double speak. L. Cummings.

Paypal - Credit Card Payment Processing Service Review

I kept getting emails saying my payments were denied and they were going to try 3 more times. I had just signed up with one of my bank accounts. When I called paypal, they told me I was using a savings account, that really is mine, but I NEVER gave them the info to that account. I do not even know the account number! So now I am -$100 in that account. Paypal will not return my emails. They were not helpful at all and plan on taking more action on this issue!

Nine Strikes and They're Out!!!!

I cancelled my account because of the terrible customer service I got on ONE issue. I received a notice that my bank declined a debit card payment. In the email, there were no instructions on who to contact at PayPal to resolve the issue (Strike One). So I researched it through my bank, who told me there was no problem with my card, and that they did not even see an attempt made by PayPal to charge in that amount against my debit card. They recommended that PayPal simply reprocess the request. I go to my PayPal account and my current, active card was flagged as being declined. I was not allow to resubmit it as my payment method through the website. NOR WERE THERE ANY INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO THIS! (Strike Two). I then called the number I finally found through the Call us page. Having no clue as to how to address this, I had to listen to all the options and guess what option I had to choose. I ended up in the wrong department (because there was no information on who to contact to correct this issue). After talking to the first person, and having to explain the entire situation twice, as well as clarify what had happened (Strike Three-- bad training) -- I was put on Hold. By now I have spent over 45 minutes researching this issue (including the 30 minutes I spent on the phone with this less than effective customer service person). By the time he got back and told me I to talk to Collections to resolve this issue, I was getting very annoyed. I was upset that I had to go to COLLECTIONS for what appeared to be a PAYPAL issue! Ok, so was put on hold and transferred. Either Agent no. 1 either didn't write up my case, or Agent no. 2 didn't take the time to at least read the notes. So I have to explain my story in full for a 3rd time (Strike Four). Agent #2 tried to explain that the declining bank is one that I no longer have an account with -- which is quite odd because on the screen I saw it was quite clear that my preferred card was the one active with the bank that I currently do business with. (By the way, I did try to remove the other bank information a while back, but it obviously did not "take." -- strike six, faulty interface.). Agent #2 was quite condescending -- which is very insulting, especially to someone who is already annoyed (Strike Five) Actually, I had told him when I started the call that I was already quite po'd, and that I had already spent 30 min on the phone with PayPal. So we get it authorized. Follow-Up -- Then, I get an email follow-p "We've added a Credit to your PayPal account ... We thought you'd like to know that we've added a credit to your PayPal account." They did no such thing -- they corrected the error that THEIR system created. Adding a credit implies that you have given me some extra money for the time and inconvenience I experienced (Strike Six) Additionally, that "we thought you'd like to know" line is condescending (Strike Seven), and entirely inappropriate for a financial transaction (Strike Eight), I am a professional business writer and I would no more use such a phrase for financial correspondence than fly to the moon. My bank doesn't send me little messages saying "We thought you'd like to know that your paycheck was deposited." or "You may be interested in knowing that you are overdrawn." Finally, there is no link to a survey or comments in the Follow-up Email (Strike Nine). (Actually, there is a strike Ten -- I found the Feedback Link and the comments only allow 1000 characters -- so I had to basically send the above review in little batches) I've cancelled my account

PayPal continues to represent china company that rips off Americans

I made a purchase through PayPal from Modlily, a Chinese company that sells women's clothing to naive Americans. tgier size conversion charts are way way off. The shoulder width is that of a child....and this was a 2xx. ( I wear a 12 or 14). Do not order if you are larger than a B cup. Look at the women who do your nails....Asian women and American women cannot be comparable unless you are a size 0-2. Anyway, you live and learn. The company offers no customer service, and seems to laugh at you if you try to return...telling you the postage is so high it is not worth it. They offered me a credit but geez, I already knew nothing they made would fit me. I asked for my mone back, I went to PayPal and complained. The company then offered me $25 on $70 worth or merchandise. I would not take it. PayPal review said too bad.... they would do nothing. They continue to deal with this company despite thousands of consumer complaints. That makes PayPal guilty by association. Do not count on PayPal for consumer protection. They make their money off the company profits.

My PayPal Refund Has Been Pending a Month Without Resolve

I am writing this "complaint" review mainly as a last resort to in hope a conscientious employee at PayPal will read it and hopefully help resolve my problem. My issue is that I bid on an eBay item and won. I received an email that I had won and immediately released my payment via PayPal on 11-16-2016. Two days later I sent an email to the seller asking him when he was going to ship the item I purchased. No response. The next day, 11-19-2016 I emailed the seller another email stating that if he was not going to ship my purchase to please give me a "refund". I received an email from PayPal that the seller had given me a refund. I again wrote the seller asking him if he would please inquire with his bank what the problem was with his refund to me. Again, I was ignored by the eBay seller. After waiting the 3-5 business days [as of this writing, this is the 9th business day] my refund is still in a "pending" status. I tried to resolve my problem by contacting PayPal 4 times via email and the customer service representative consistently replied to me with "prepared" responses that were totally irrelevant to my inquiries as though she could not comprehend anything I had written in my email. I tried to reach customer service through their ineffective "bells and whistles" phone service and stupidly waited for an hour, twice, to get through. The other times I tried to get through on the phone in Palo Alto, California I was prompted to leave a name and call back number if I did not want to wait in the *** for a phone representative. Each time [3 times] I chose that option no one ever got back to me. I finally got through to a service representative whom I explained my situation to. She gave me the same information I had gotten via email from PayPal: to wait 3-5 business days. I told her that it was already day 7. She told me to wait 2 more days and I did and my refund is still "pending". I am thoroughly frustrated by this situation with PayPal, particularly since I have been a member since 2001. The lack of employee professionalism and inordinate amounts of wait time on the phone is thoroughly disgusting. This is no way for your company to do business Mr. Schulman [CEO of PayPal].

No Resolution with PayPal

I had an issue with an online auction company. I won and paid for several items but never received them. I emailed the auction co. but never got a response. Calling did no good. Since I paid through PayPal I went through their dispute resolution dept. I have never been more disappointed. After stating, in writing at length, my position, they denied my claim. The reason they gave was an absolute lie. I was being told that they checked the tracking number and the package had been delivered. They never read my complaint, because if they had they would and could have verified that the number provided was invalid. There was no way they could verify a delivery. When one goes through PayPals dispute resolution you must agree that whatever decision they come to is final and case closed. I did not consider the case closed and refused to drop it. The auction co. screwed up, generated an invalid tracking number and I was sure they never sent me the items I bought and paid for. So I went over the heads of these *** companies and called the BBB. I had my refund within 2 weeks. After all that I was still lied to about what had happened with my purchase. The BBB was told one thing while an email I received stated a completely different reason. Just plain lazy and unprofessional people working at both places.
