They do not accept pictures of my documents

PayPal - They do not accept pictures of my documents
I have internet connection, mobile phone number and email. But i have no: photocamera, scanner or MFP. (I had 0,2 mp camera in my phone, but 3 years ago it died.) Also i have passport and INN (unique taxpayer number). PayPal demand originals of my documents. Ludicrosity of situation is that they have no office in Moscow, where i can show my documents! Instead PayPal demand PICTURE of them. Okay, i made pictures out of internet with my real data. PayPal is totally unsatisfied and say they'll block me in 180 days. Considering COVI-19 situation and that all copying/scanning kiosks are closed, PayPal have very hostile service. "Decision is final and not appealable". Really, how retarded you must be, if you have no scanner?!

PayPal - Lost $5,400
I had a customer cancel his payment to me of $5,400 because PayPal couldn't confirm my email address. So I ended up losing that income because PayPal system was/is having issues. This needs to get resolved asap. I need the money I lost because of your system. The transaction ID is U-85X857913L448072J.........UPDATE... so it's been a week and basically all I get are the dumb answers. Would you like to change email, but they did tell me they could confirm my email for me now if that would help.......Like nope the payment is already gone. What I don't understand stand is my wife did 2 test transactions and both of them went through. But the big payment was held up.

Will not protect Buyers against scammer even with evidence

I got scammed by a company in china and i used Paypal because of the protection in place. The items I received were not like i ordered at all and seller admitted to this in my dispute but PayPal decided that i have to pay over $150 to return a $53 transaction. The courier service advised against this because products shipped back to China usually get lost and Paypal has the same complaints over and over and won't do anything about this. Since the price to return isn't worth it. The seller then wins, even if they are admitting to basically ripping off people. This is the message on my dispute but yet it has to cost me more for me to get a refund: Dear Customer, Thanks for your response. There is a little difference between ads and the real product. We don't have the totally same product. Transcript of msg w/ Paypal Rep Maries 8:55 AM Our zero liability protection is for fraudulent transactions made by whoever accessed your PayPal account. It's not for situation like this. You can also contact your bank and ask them to dispute the transaction with them. They might not ask you to return the product anymore. Not sure why anyone would use PayPal instead of a credit---I said credit---card. Take the loss and get a good credit card.

Thanks for the feedback, I am sure a lot of us now knows that. Pat yourself on the back why dont you. We trusted Paypal, I actually used them because i thought like banks they would protect us, plus its either than giving credit card info.

To resolve account limitations

Could not get a hold of anyone. All numbers for paypal are currently shut down due to COVID 19. I give a 1 star bc they should at least have a customer service line open

They have hundreds of dollars of my funds and have limited my account which I have used for many years. Customer support will not response. They allowed my account to receive money but won't allow me to pay my bills which are overdue so I'm going to lose everything.

Unable to connect to raise a dispute

paypal portal is not showing the activity and therefore i am unable to raise a dispute with the seller. Call centers dont take call for hours and virtual chat doesnt respond after 1hr i have contacted the seller multiple times via email, their website and call but there has been no response.

Withdrew money instead of refunding

PayPal was to refund $24.99 from Ancestry.com (who withdrew money 3 weeks after I cancelled account) but instead swiped another $24.99 from my checking account!!! Folks, if everything is going digital (meaning they can get in your account) then we have ZERO recourse when they say Sorry, due to the virus our customer service section is closed.

I Think I have been Scammed

I was selling something on ebay and they guy asked me to message him and asked if he sent the money through paypal to get an ebay gift card of $100 to out with his purchase because it was a gift for someone.. he asked me to email “paypal” and gave me an email address for “paypal” and they said they needed pictures i purchased it and the money would be put into my account immediately and after i sent photos after i bought it sent a weird email saying i had to send it again and i showed him and he said they took money out of his account the email said something was going on with the system and he told me i needed to buy another $100 and send photos to get it confirmed he’s got photos of the gift card i think he scammed me
