I logged into my account today to try check on my account and see if my reoccurring Purchases Were going to go through. And I see my account was permanent limitation due to breaking the term of service. However I have not broken the terms of service like drug, drug paraphernalia or sex work. I only use it to send bitcoin to friends and make automatic monthly withdrawals for my apple and Crunchyroll account

PayPal issues never stop

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am respectfully requesting that the hold on my funds/account be lifted immediately. I do not want this account to remain open nor do I want PayPal services any longer.

I have previously requested a review/appeal of my case which was denied for some reason which I do not understand.

Regardless, I feel that holding my funds for 180 days for some non-fraudulent violation of PayPal Acceptable Use Policy is excessive and an abuse of power,

I will be filing complaints with the appropriate agencies on February 1, 2024, if I am not satisfied with your response to this request to release my funds.

Please be aware that replying with the standard procedure is part of the terms of service that you agreed to/ will not satisfy my request, or deter me from filing my complaints with the appropriate agencies. I am simply seeking a resolution that is fair and in the best interest of both parties.

U unable to make payment either by phone or phone call or online

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Payment is due tomorrow. Ive been trying for weeks to make the payment in full.

Somehow they switched my account to where it defaults to the credit part. I dont want anything going to the credit. I already have another card in there to cover it. I also have a bank card in there.

It doesnt recognize my bank card. I spent an hour or more on the phone with an agent last week. Trying to help me get it set up she told me I could not make a payment by phone which I did last month because the same issue Happened. Additionally, she deleted my account that I had entered used my husbands account which I told her not to use that it was not in my account.

Then she deleted his account finally and allegedly put my account back in. However, when I go to make a payment, it doesnt show that any bank is linked if I get to where it shows the bank linked and I click for to make the payment the screen goes back to the original 80 to login again this is very frustrating and irritating to a 79-year-old woman , Im tired of it.

I want to pay my accountant full by phone and I want to close the credit part. This is *** It also cost me several points on my credit report to even open the damn account so take it and shove it and hopefully at some point youll call me to get a payment , youre right Im pissed

Tried to get hold of pay pal to report a fraudulent incident to my account. I could not reach a phone number to report the incident. I will not be responsible for a $999.00 charge to my account. This is for something I have no knowledge about and in a state that I dont live in.

Fraud

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

To Whom It May Concern:

A few months ago, I received 4 email fraud alerts from PayPal at service@***.com. In those emails, I was requested to call a PayPal number, which I did.

I was forwarded to a representative. I explained why I was calling. He said that he would handle the situation. He told me that in order for him to clear the frauds, I should set up an external account.

When he got everything set up, the fraud method that was used would be eliminated, and he promised me that my money would be returned with interest. In the mean time, I closed my PayPal account to prevent potential fraud. At first, everything seemed to be unusual but OK. Then my computer was hacked.

Some of my stock was sold and my IRA was raided. Over time, large amounts of my money were sent by my banks to various foreign banks via wire transfers in my name. Then one day, I asked him when my money including interest would be returned. He then told me that he lost his job, and that he could not return my money.

I was livid. But, it was too late. I should have known better, but I trusted PayPal.

I sent 6 letters to phishing@***.com explaining what happened to me. Each time, I asked them to contact me and to investigate this for me.

I assumed PayPal had the resources and the financial and security contacts to help me and hopefully return my money. Every time I sent a letter, a robo/automated response was sent to me thanking me for my letter and that they work hand-in-hand with world authorities to combat fraud and scams. I gave them all the information I had including phone numbers, bank names and addresses, account numbers, and recipient names and addresses. PayPal wont even acknowledge my situation.

This event has caused me great financial damage. I am embarrassed and foolish to ever trust PayPal, but I did to my determent.

Whether PayPal was intimately involved or not, the crime committed on me was done in PayPals name. I thought that alone would be enough for PayPal to investigate this to clear their name and I would get my money. So far, no go.

It is too late for me, but I caution anyone reading this to be weary doing business or considering doing business with PayPal. Don't choose poorly. This happened to me and it can happen to you.

Remember: If it is too good to be true it probably isnt. I wish I remembered.

Horrible PayPal Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been dealing with Paypal on this issue for months. My Paypal account is negative due to fraudelent activity on my account.

I disputed this with PayPal and PayPal credit. Because they hacked my credit it caused my PayPal linked debit card to go negative. I have spoke with several different reps and agencies. The last message I got was PayPal was working on this issue.

PayPal credit has already issued me a new account for my account. PayPal itself has refused to acknowledge or reach out. Everytime I call in I am bounced around so many different departments. Each call being a wasted hour of my time.

Can someone assist with this. This is frustrating as a charge off on my account is bad. For banking, credit cards and more. Its wrong to do this.

I have reached out since October 2023 we are in Jan 2024 now. This is ridiculous.

I have been a PayPal customer since 2011. Why would I be treated like this?
